Welcome to Morpeth Gaming Club...
Morpeth Gaming Club is a wargaming club based in the North East of England. We play a wide selection of games, and welcome anyone from seasoned veteran's to total beginners.
Our members run numerous campaigns and leagues though out the year that anyone is welcome to join, and we try to make sure that everyone has at least one game every session.
The club has been running since late 2005, and we have numerous regular members and several regular visitors from other clubs in the area.
In 2006 we moved to a new location, giving us access to a brand new building and all the facilities we could ask for. All this was thanks to the local charity Contact in Morpeth, for which we're very grateful.

The fighting in the underhive is starting to escalate once again, as small groups of gangers are starting to run into each other and renew old rivalries.
The most recent gun fighting started with the gunfighters of Oringinal Gang Name engaging Trixies Hen party in a brief shoot out. The small groups from each gang had spotted each other across the trading area filled with merchants and innocent underhivers, as the gangers slowly moved up with hands hovering near weapons and muscles tensing ready to respond to the first gun drawn, although neither gang seemed to want to be blamed for starting a firefight in such a public area with the possibility of enforcers patrolling.
Trixies Hen party unable to keep their temper, and in keeping with the vicious reputation they have been developing throughout the underhive, pulled their guns first to try and take out the Van Saar gangers with a swift flurry of bullets. However showing their gun fighting skills and training that the Van Saar are famed throughout the underhive for, the Original Gang name gangers beat Trixies hen party to the draw and got their shots off first.
The first volley causing one of the house Escher girls to hit the deck to avoid a lethal round, whilst another of the gangers from Trixies Hen party was not so quick and get taken down with a well aimed round.
Unfortunately for the Van Saar of Origanl Gang Name, they had failed to spot that one of the gang members they faced was Trixie herself, seeing one of her gang taken down by these men just drove her to fight harder, calling up the ganger that had hit the floor, Trixie took aim with her plasma pistol and dropped the Van Saar ganger in front of her. Whilst this happened the ganger that had just got up with a face full of dirty took aim with a scatter shot to try and keep the remaining 2 gangers from Oringinal Gang Name from shooting again, getting lucky with this shotgun shell both target gangers were wounded and downed. The ferocity of this first volley of fire proved too much for the calculated technical marksmanship of the Original Gang Name members, who managed to use the confusion of the crowds desperately trying to avoid the shooting to make their escape and get clear of Trixie and her gang members before they could close in a finish the job!
In an effort to maintain their reputation for gunmanship, the remaining members of Original Gang Name went out looking for an easier target, this came in the hulking form of Arnies Avengers. Before Arnie and 2 of his gangers registered what was happening, the Van Saar gangers had opened fire. After a brief ferocious fire fight, which witnesses say was too dangerous to try and keep their head up long enough to see what was happening! The crowds started to gather as the sound of gun fire reduced, to see that Arnie and one of the goliath gangers were grounded with gunshot wounds that would see them recover fairly quickly, but the gangers of Original Gang Name were nowhere to be seen, obviously having felt they had vindicated themselves they had left the field of battle.

Hi All,
Short message for those of you who visit the forums using a mobile (such as an iPhone, Android handset or... which ever one of you it is who visits with a Blackberry), the forums now support Tapatalk which makes it easier and quicker to make, view and update ports from the smaller screen.
For more informaiton on Tapatalk, visit http://tapatalk.com/. Its costs roughly £2 - £4 (depending on your handset), and works on thousands of forums across the internet (including Warseer, etc...).
Android users can install Tapatalk from the Marketplace, or via the link https://market.android.com/details?id=com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity&hl=en
iPhone or iPad users can install Tapatalk from iTunes http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/tapatalk-forum-app/id307880732?mt=8
The single (and frankly odd) Blackberry user can install Tapatalk here http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/46654?lang=en
You don't NEED Tapatalk to visit the forum from your mobile, it will still work from the browser
Cheers Folks,
Mike
