Welcome to Morpeth Gaming Club...

Morpeth Gaming Club is a wargaming club based in the North East of England. We play a wide selection of games, and welcome anyone from seasoned veteran's to total beginners.

Our members run numerous campaigns and leagues though out the year that anyone is welcome to join, and we try to make sure that everyone has at least one game every session.

The club has been running since late 2005, and we have numerous regular members and several regular visitors from other clubs in the area.

In 2006 we moved to a new location, giving us access to a brand new building and all the facilities we could ask for. All this was thanks to the local charity Contact in Morpeth, for which we're very grateful.

Hi Guys,

Just to let you all know that starting from Next week, the club runs on Tuesday and Sundays.

That means that after Sunday, our next session will be on Tuesday 19th January 2010.

Guys,

Due to the current weather conditions, and how that usually unfolds at St Georges (aka the hill becomes a death trap for anyone stupid enough to drive up it) we MAY have to pospone the re-opening until next week. I will try to keep you all updated via text (for those who's mobiles I have) and via the website for everyone else.

So please, pay attention, and ask before Thursday to make sure we're open before you travel.

Annoucing the MGC's first Annual 40K Tournament 2010

Next year, we plan to run our very own 40K Tournament.

It will take place over the whole Sunday, and will be on first-come, first served basis.

Any of your interested in coming, please bring in your Entry Forms as quickly as possible so we have an idea on Numbers and who to expect.

You will require a 1500pt Fully Painted 40k Army, and at least 2 Objectives on bases no larger then 60mm (the large Dreadnought bases, in otherwords).

Hi Guys,

On the 20th December 2009 we will be holding our annual Big Christmas Game. All we need to know is who is planning to turn up, and which armies they want to bring.

To take part you'll need your codex, dice, tape measure, and your 1500pt Army.

We'll supply the food, the game, a Good Santa and an Evil Santa!
