Welcome to Morpeth Gaming Club...
Morpeth Gaming Club is a wargaming club based in the North East of England. We play a wide selection of games, and welcome anyone from seasoned veteran's to total beginners.
Our members run numerous campaigns and leagues though out the year that anyone is welcome to join, and we try to make sure that everyone has at least one game every session.
The club has been running since late 2005, and we have numerous regular members and several regular visitors from other clubs in the area.
In 2006 we moved to a new location, giving us access to a brand new building and all the facilities we could ask for. All this was thanks to the local charity Contact in Morpeth, for which we're very grateful.

For more informaiton on Tapatalk, visit http://tapatalk.com/. Its costs roughly £2 - £4 (depending on your handset), and works on thousands of forums across the internet (including Warseer, etc...).
Android users can install Tapatalk from the Marketplace, or via the link https://market.android.com/details?id=com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity&hl=en
iPhone or iPad users can install Tapatalk from iTunes http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/tapatalk-forum-app/id307880732?mt=8
The single (and frankly odd) Blackberry user can install Tapatalk here http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/46654?lang=en
You don't NEED Tapatalk to visit the forum from your mobile, it will still work from the browser
Cheers Folks,

The last few days in the underhive have been quite devoid of gang fighting, there are rumours that the gangs are recuperating and preparing for something big! However there was a brief shoot out between Arnies’s Avengers and Trixie’s Hen Party.
It seems that the House Escher girls are living up to their dislike of the dumb strength of the goliaths, this shoot out saw Zena, Helga and Big Bess take the opportunity to face off against Tank, Slash and Jimmy. The 6 gangers cautiously approached each other, each showing holding their nerve and not drawing aim with their guns, until one of the goliaths noticed that Helga was carrying a flamer. The news from the other Goliath gang in the area as to the effectiveness of flamers had must have reached Arnie’s Avengers, as Helga was targeted by all 3 of Arnie’s Avengers, although only managing a single flesh wound from such close range was a little less than the desired effect!
In response the Trixie’s Hen Party opened up, with Big Bess taking down Slash with a well placed pistol shot, having created enough time and space to help her fellow gang member, Big Bess got Helga to her feet and steadied her long enough for a burst of flames to engulf Arnie’s Avengers. As the flames cleared it became obvious that Tank was taking no further part in this battle and Jimmy would be slightly distracted from the fight trying to extinguish his clothing! (It seems that the Goliaths really are ‘thick as 2 short planks’ and as flammable as them too)
With Tank and Slash unable to continue the fight and Jimmy running off to sort out his burns, Trixie’s Hen Party had won a clear victory, taking Slash as a trophy of their victory. However, upon getting Slash back to their gang base they realised that he was no totally blind (having previously been blinded in one eye, this fight had taken its toll of the other). Realising he was worthless Trixie relieved him of all his equipment and let him loose to try and stumble his way through the underhive. With the credits gained from the stolen equipment Trixie managed to find some Flak armour and an autorepairer.

Today saw some of the outlanders of the underhive leaving their desolate and inhospitable area of the underhive in an attempt to loot and Pillage the more productive sectors. The ratskins of the firefly tribe met with more resistance than they may have hoped for as they had targeted on of Pacinos Posses’ territories, and it seems Pacinos Posse were determined not to let any of their stashed loot be captured by these outlander scavengers.
The Firefly tribe advanced cautiously, keeping to the shadows and watching out for any guards that might be protecting the loot that they had found, although the ratskins did not see any of Pacino’s Posse hiding within the tower overlooking the area, Pacino’s Posse had seen some movement in the shadows, although not having a clean shot, the guards in the tower opened up with the heavy stubber, letting out a burst of fire into the shadows in an attempt to flush out the advancing ratskins. The rest of the guards hunkered down and keep a watchful eye any glimpse of a target to open fire on.
In a show of speed and agility, Kay run across the open ground and dived for cover, picking up some loot as he rolled into the cover provided by a bulk head. Inara seeing an opportunity to clear away some of the guards sent one of her pet rats charging into Mr Takaki, whilst Whedan advanced through the lower levels of the building behind the aggressive necromundian rat. Whilst advancing into better cover Inara had to cross some open ground, this gave Mars the opportunity he was looking for, as he took her out of action with a well placed shot, having lost the psychic link with its beastmaster the giant rat broke away from combat and disappeared through the broken rubble of the underhive, leaving Whedan in the open in front of Funhouse and Mr Takaki. Obviously feeling a little exposed Whedan quickly grabbed a grenade from his pack an threw it through the gaps in the wall Funhouse and Mr Takaki were hiding behind, hearing the explosion followed by a scream Whedan allowed himself a little smile, knowing he had injured at least one of his opponents, but forced both of them to keep their head down long enough for him to get in close for the finish off...
Whilst this fighting was taking place, the remainder of Pacino’s Posse had appeared on the far side of the walkways linking the buildings of this area, and advanced along the walkway to provide cover for their mates and stop the Firefly tribe from surrounding the gaurds. Whedan took his opportunity and charged in taking Funhouse out with a brutal axe blow as he followed up into combat with Mr Takaki. Using the distraction afforded by the close quarter fighting Kay, determined to prove his worth to the tribe, kept him his fast paced advance sprinting from hiding place to hiding place picking up anything of value he could see. Having seen the rest of Pacino’s Posse join the fray from the far end of the complex, Zoe moved up into a position to try and persuade these gang members to keep their heads down, but fired wildly off target and left herself in the open. Al Pacino took aim at Zoe, but must have been distracted by movement just as he pulled the trigger, his shot make contact with a target however this target of one of Al Pacinos own gangers (Mongo) although he was a little shocked he was no worse for the accidental cross fire incident. Flattop following his leaders example decided that he would try to help Mr Takaki deal with Whedan, taking aim and firing a quick double tap into the frantic combat, he downed both Whedan and Mr Takaki! Whedan managed to crawl free from Mr Takaki as Doc provided covering fire and downed flat top.
As Mr Takaki shook off his wounds and picked himself back up in order to finish off Whedan, Mal rounded a nearby bulk head and put Mr takaki down again with a well placed shot, before running in and finishing the wounded Orlock ganger. With some clear ground in from of him, Whedan managed to pick himself up and decided he would try to grab some loot before trying to make it to safety away from the fight, however this act of greed only earned Whedan a serious wound from Al Pacinos boltgun. Seeing the Firefly tribes severely depleted numbers Al Pacinos Posse decided to push forward and see off these interlopers once and for all, Al Pacino and Mongo decided that enough was enough, and went in search of Jay, who they had seen diving between buildings and picking up the valuable things that Pacinos Posse had stored in the area. With only 2 members of the tribe left standing the Firefly tribe disappeared back into the wastelands, with Jay proving that Juves can be useful and bringing back 15 credits worth of loot. However as the area was cleared Pacinos Posse found the body of Inara, and Captured Mal (the Firefly tribes’ chief). Stripping Mal of all his equipment Al Pacino decided his gang had gained more for their stash than they had lost, and just cut Mal loose to find his way back to his tribe if he could survive the underhive without any weapons!
.: Necromunda Night 7 (The Hunters Descend)

There have been nervous whispers around the underhive for a few days now that a new group of Spyrers had descended to the underhive to hone their hunting skills and prey on the unfortunate inhabitants of the underhive. The first to be able to confirm the existence of this new gang was the Firefly Tribe, who happened to have been the closest to the area the spryer hunters had claimed as their own.
The ratskins faced off against the Spyrers across the industrial waste area around their sump spillage, seeing an opportunity to make a mark on the underhive, the Spyrers advanced fast across the terrain, whilst the Firefly tribe tried a more cautious approach attempting to gain positions to protect each other from the advancing hunters. Opening the fight with a well placed shotgun shell the ratskin chief Mal hit the advancing malcadon who only survived the shot thanks to the bio-boosters built into his armour. Mean while Jayne had darted across the open ground to get into a position to charge the malcadon as it recovered from the shotgun hit, in response the malcadon entangled Jayne with his web spinner.
Mean while the Jakara took the confusion caused by the ratskins seeing Jayne entangled in the web to charge Mal and try to end the exchange by taking out the ratskin chief, unfortunately for the Jakara years of fighting for survival in the outlands have made Mal a tougher opponent than he may appear, the Jakara only surviving thanks to the additional protection provided by his shield and by his bio-boosters. Seeing her chief locked in combat Zoe charged in to tip the balance, but again the jakara’s shield saved him suffering any harm. This protracted combat ended with Zoe being downed, with Mal shortly taken down trying to prevent the Jakara dealing a final blow to Zoes’ prone body.
Whilst this combat was taking place, on the other side of the industrial ruin, Inara and her pet rats had advanced alongside Whedon, Wash and Kay to try and outflank the Spyrers. Seeing this threat an Orrus and the Yeld advanced to neutralise the threat. Inara sent her pet rats in to attack these spyrers, whilst Wash shot at the Yeld forcing it to take cover and distracting it from taking aim on the advancing rat. 1 of the rats charged into the Orrus and with the ferocity that these necromundan giant rats are becoming infamous for proceeded to pull down and kill the Orrus warrior in front of it. However, having seen so many of their tribe taken down in combat the Firefly tribe turned and ran, trying to pull the downed tribe members to safety, unfortunately struggling to release Jayne from the entangled web, and realising they would no longer be able to hold a territory so close to these new hunters in the underhive, the firefly had to leave Jayne and run. The last view the firefly tribe had as was the surviving Spyrers dragging Jayne off to their base...
