What is a LAN Party?
A LAN Party is when a group of people get together to play their favorite computer game son a local area network (or LAN).
LAN Parties come in many shapes and sizes, from a couple of mates in a bedroom to thousands of people of people who take over an entire venue for the weekend.
Our LAN Parties are normally attended by 20+ individuals, each with their own computer, ready play the day away on their favorite games.
What Games do you Play?
The games we play varies from LAN Party to LAN Party, and depends on who attends what games people have available. We're always up for trying out a new game, or playing the latest installment of a popular games series.
Currently, our games list includes;
- Unreal Tournament 2004 (or 3)
- Battlefield 2
- Call of Duty 4
- Left 4 Dead
- Far Cry
We often encourage gamers to bring along any game they fancy trying, as there will always be someone willing to try it with you. If you're attending one of our LAN Parties, you're more then welcome to suggest a game before the event to give people time to purchase the game (and get some practise in!)
How much does it cost?
The cost of an event depends largely on the number of people we know are coming, and what size of venue we require.

At many events, we also offer take-out food as part of the cost (for example, Pizza, Fish & Chips, etc..), and there is normally small additional cost for this.
It can also depend upon how long you intend to come. Some people can only make it for the morning or afternoon, and so the cost is reduced as well.
As a rought guide, expect to pay between £10 and £20 per session.
Where do you play?
As above, the location of the LAN Party can vary depending on availablity of the venue, the number of attendees, and power requirements. We always try to make sure the venue is easily accessable, secure and where possible connected to the Internet.
All of our venues are in or around Morpeth town.
What do you provide?
At each event, we provide each and every player with;
- Other players to play against
- A single Network Connect (Cat5e cable to a Gigabit Switch)
- A single Power Point per player
- Easily accessable Game Servers & Games Updates where required
What do I need to bring?
If you're attending one of our events, you will need to make sure you bring;
- Your computer (including keyboard, mouse & any power cables)
- Your monitor (including power cables)
- Power Extension cable (we do limit the number of devices you can connect at once)
- Headphones (so you can hear whats going)
